Accounting Day in Ukraine is celebrated on July 16-th Accounting day is the professional holiday of all accountants. This holiday ia also frequently referred as Accountant’s Day. This date was chosen because on this date in 1999 the Law of Ukraine “On Accounting and Financial Reporting in Ukraine” was adopted.
Until 2004, the feast was celebrated by Federation of Accountants and Auditors of Ukraine informally. As a result of the Presidential Decree number 662/2004 of 18.06.2004 on July 16 was designated as the Day of the accountant.
